Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Snyder moved to Seattle in 2005 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Washington with a B.A. in social science. His interest in a legal education lead him to intern at the King County Public Defender where he was trained in criminal defense investigations; then employed full-time as a staff-investigator, working on behalf of indigent, accused persons. During this time Mr. Snyder independently conducted criminal defense investigations in felony cases including sexual assaults, robberies, homicides, and financial crimes.

He has been praised for his ability to build rapport with individuals from all corners of life, and to elicit a detailed and straightforward story from witnesses otherwise inclined to be vague or guarded. His firm has helped criminal defense attorneys prepare hundreds of cases for trial or plea in state and federal courts, from Seattle to Spokane. He has broad experience with child interviewing; particularly with interviewing child sexual assault victims.
Mr. Snyder also does regular investigative work on civil and family law cases and provides the total range of litigation support services to attorneys in all practice areas to include locating witnesses, interviewing witnesses, background checks, service of process, preparation of trial exhibits, and trial consulting.
Among his multiple areas of expertise, Mr. Snyder also has comprehensive knowledge of surveillance methods and has coordinated covert surveillance operations on behalf of corporate clients, insurers, and private individuals.
Mr. Snyder holds a certificate in forensics from the University of Washington School of Professional and Continuing Education; a program consisting of three academic quarters taught by UW faculty in subjects including forensic science and medico-legal death investigation. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Reid School of Interview and Interrogation Techniques; a program recognized as an industry standard by domestic and international law enforcement agencies. Mr. Snyder attends ongoing continuing-education seminars, gives presentations at industry-sponsored conferences, and helps to educate other investigators.
